Excursions

Wolfsthurn Castle in Andriano (South Tyrol) is the ideal starting point for excursions even if you haven’t got a car. Simply slip on your hiking boots and off you go!
 
Small, leisurely walks in the forest, to brooks, yew thickets (10 min to 60 min), are just as enticing as longer tours to Festenstein Castle, Bittnerhof mountain hut, Hocheppan Castle (1h to 3h) or even day-long tours to the Monte Macaion mountain (5h to 7h). Andriano is located in a central position in South Tyrol; just a stone’s throw away from Bolzano by car,  it’s easy to explore other locations in South Tyrol from Andriano by car, bus or train.
